Behind each unique piece in our Bottle Collection - USA Edition lies a personal story and a distinct name. Today, let me share the tale of Deb, a remarkable creation born from my exhilarating travels to Carson City, NV.
Here's Deb's...
Picture this: the wind in my hair, the rumble of my motorcycle beneath me as I embarked on a thrilling ride from Sacramento, CA to Carson City. The occasion? The American Motorcyclist Association's International Women & Motorcycling Conference. Oh, what a journey it was!
I should preface this by saying that there were a couple of Debs in my women's motorcycle gang. Ok, sooo it wasn't really a gang...hehe. In our passionate pursuit of all things motorcycle, we formed a group called the "Rhinestone Riders, Inc". And while we may not have been a gang in the traditional sense, our bond was unbreakable..
The Rhinestone Riders were an eclectic mix of women who excelled in various walks of life. Among us were retired police officers, insurance agents, IT professionals, and business ownersātruly a diverse and well-rounded bunch.
What impressed me most about these incredible women was their prowess on their iron horses. Despite their petite frames, they effortlessly maneuvered their mighty Harley Davidsons, leaving me in awe. Riding together in perfect formation, we followed the hand signals we had learned from the Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF). It was a sight to behold, a symphony of synchronized movements as we explored different routes under the guidance of our dedicated road captains.
In my quest to enhance our riding experience, I stumbled upon a valuable resourceāan article outlining the best practices for group riding. It was a fascinating read, providing invaluable insights into optimizing safety and coordination within a motorcycle convoy. on Best practices used for group riding. It's a great read!
As I reflect upon my own journey, I am filled with immense pride for achieving my motorcycle license and mastering the art of riding. Let me show you the Harley Davidson Sportster 1200 that I learned to ride on... My first bike ever!
Carson City holds a special place in my heart, symbolizing adventure, camaraderie, and the thrill of the open road. Deb, the embodiment of this incredible journey, stands as a testament to the remarkable experiences that fuel our creative spirit. I hope that Deb brings a touch of that same adventurous spirit into your home as part of our Bottle Collection - USA Edition.
